Compare! Tiny Houses, Conventional, Modular and Manufactured Homes – Wally Comer, Rich Rice Inside MH with Adventure Homes

At the end of the day, it’s about making comparisons.  You or those you work with, know or love ought to make your next housing decision based on facts, not opinions.

You ought to take the same kind of time to truly understand that next housing choice as you would to decide which doctor you want to do surgery on someone you care about.  Videos help!  But so does going to see and touch that new model homes at a good retailer or community.

In Part 3 of this Inside MH Road Show video with Wally Comer and Rich Rice at Adventure Homes, you’ll get some commentary about all of the above. If you missed them, click on Part 1 and Part 2 of this factory tour and video interview to get the inside story in greater depth.

As a bonus, here are two videos their model homes.

Manufactured home above, a modular home below.

We certainly respect those who chose a ‘Tiny House,’ but we also encourage those considering them to compare factory-built park model homes or manufactured homes. The factory built options are easier to finance and resell than an tiny house, and are often greener and can save more money too.

Tiny Houses have their appeal, but as this Inside MH video explains, they are difficult to finance. Older houses can be an option for some, but why not get a new home for about the same dollars? Modern factory-crafted homes are more energy efficent and have new home warranties. Photo credits – Tiny House – rowdykittens, older conventional house- airbnb.ca.

As a reminder, a modular home is built to a state or local building code, a manufactured home is built to the federal manufactured home code standards.  Either one can serve you well. Learn more, have fun and enjoy! ##
