
MHProNews and Menafn both report that another UFPI subsidiary, purchased assets of High Level Components LLC in Locust, North Carolina, a deal that closed March 31, 2014.
With manufactured and modular home construction steadily rising, it is no surprise that UFPI – as well as other suppliers to factory-home-builders – are continuing their investments and acquisitions.
High Level will be part of Universal Forest Product’s Mid-Atlantic subsidiary. The expansion into the Charlotte, North Carolina will give UFPI a greater market presence.
