Jack and Betsy Norman, Whispering Pines 55+ Manufactured Home Community, Somerset, PA

Whispering Pines is a “55 plus” manufactured home community. Nestled among the trees of Western PA, we knew it was way over due for us to share the perspective of those who enjoy “retirement community” living. This Inside MH video interview is with Jack and Betsy Norman, who will tell us in their own words what they like about the lifestyle they’ve discovered.

The satellite view shows just how woodsy this part of Pennsylvania is. About an easy one hour drive from Pittsburg, near I70, is the Whispering Pines 55+ Manufactured Home Community. 1873 Husband Rd. Somerset, PA 15501. Map credit, Google Earth.

At some point we could go back to videos like this one, and edit them down to a key point or two.  In fact, let’s just do that right here an now.

Now you can see the full interview below. As you can tell, these are free flowing conversations.  In a hurry?  Want some energy?  Watch the above video.  Want to really dig in deeper?  The video below will give you that experience.

Either way, we want to share with those who are considering the MH LifeStyle the stories of those who live in and know these homes so well. You want to see real people, telling their own stories.  There are no scripts, no teleprompters.

Not all ‘retirement parks’ for ‘mobile home living’ (sic) are found in Florida, South Texas or SoCal. Most people don’t move south, they stay near where they’ve always lived.  “Golden Agers” MH Communities can be found in states from coast-to-coast, including this one in Pennsylvania.

Jack and Betsy will talk about their hobbies, their friends and why ‘downsizing’ to this MH Community lifestyle was an upgrade in their living.

Our thanks to UMH Properties for making the introduction of this lovely couple. You’ll find the Norman’s story to be – genuine. Sincere. Authentic. That’s what America wants these days, the real deal. ##
